Questions about billing

Can I change plan later?

Yes, in either direction. Plan and payment changes are handled in the billing portal, which you open from Account → Billing.

What counts as an active sandbox?

Any sandbox that exists and has not been deleted, whether it is running or expired-but-restorable. Deleting one frees the slot straight away. Your plan limits how many exist at once, not how many you create in a month.

What happens when a sandbox expires?

On the free plan a sandbox is removed after 7 days. On a paid plan you can mark a sandbox permanent and it stays until you delete it. An expired sandbox can be restored back to a running site rather than being gone for good.

How does workspace billing work?

A workspace plan comes with a number of seats, and seats, sandboxes, and storage pool across the whole team. If you need more people than your plan includes, extra seats are billed per seat on top, from the next billing period.

Do you offer yearly billing?

Yes. Switching the toggle to Yearly shows the annual price, which works out cheaper than paying monthly for twelve months.

How do I cancel?

From Account → Billing, at any time, through the billing portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep access until then and nothing renews after that.

Can I try a paid plan before committing?

The free plan runs indefinitely and gives you two sandboxes, which is enough to see whether SandyWP fits how you work. If you need something a paid plan does and it does not work out, email support and we will sort it out.

Still not sure which plan fits? Ask us and we will tell you honestly, including when the free plan is enough.
